MATRIARCH RETREAT

A sacred pause for women-identifying and nonbinary souls drawn to come home to their bodies, stories, and ancestral wisdom. Nestled in the embrace of Leavenworth, this retreat unfolds through movement, group reflection, and solo rest—a real container to reclaim your deep knowing and wild essence..

LEAVENWORTH, WA | OCT 17-19th

  • ✺ Details

We created this retreat to play, process, move, and be together. Our retreat will begin around 4PM the 17th, but you are welcome to arrive anytime after 3pm. The retreat will end at 11am on the 18th, and we ask that all participants be there until that time.

Every activity - group or solo - is not about adherence to a schedule or pleasing others, but we want to create an opportunity for you to listen to yourself, learning from your own heart and others around you.

  • ✺ Retreat Prep

Upon registration, you’ll receive a welcome email that will provide details on how you can best prepare for the retreat. It will also include a very basic outline of what will happen over the course of the retreat.

We’ll also ask you to provide any information about yourself that you feel you want to share so we can get to know you better and serve you well at the retreat.

  • ✺ Accommodations

We will have on site accommodations for everyone. When you register, you’ll be able to choose whether you want a solo or shared room. This will be a "first come first serve” basis.

This isn’t a luxury retreat center—think more cozy and rustic than high-end. It has a charming, camp-style feel with shared spaces, simple accommodations, and a deep sense of connection to the land. What it lacks in amenities, it more than makes up for in soul, creativity, and community.

  • ✺ Cost

The cost of the retreat is $950 - $1150 depending on if you want to share a room or private. Please let us know if making a single payment is an obstacle for you as we can offer two or 3 payments if needed (limited scholarships available as well).

All meals are included while on site. First night dinner, 3 meals for Saturday, and then breakfast before leaving on Sunday.

There will be some fridge space for you to bring food if needed.

We will have a wide variety of foods for the meals for those who are vegan, gluten free, etc.

  • ✺ Cancellation Policy

Due to the nature of work and organizing of these retreats, you will not be able to cancel and receive a refund once you have registered. However, you are welcome to transfer or give your place to another participant that you know. This will be your responsibility to coordinate.

If you are transferring your spot to someone else, they will reimburse you directly. If you arrange a transfer or are gifting your spot, please email us with the name and email address of the individual who will be attending so we can send the retreat details to the new attendee.

  • ✺ Want to Join?

If you would like to come, registration opens on July 1 at 8am Pacific Time. Please send a note if you would like to receive the registration form — hello@therhythmos.com.

Emails / registration will be answered on a first come first serve basis. If you decide to join, we will provide a link for you to make an online payment for the retreat. Your spot is confirmed when you send in your deposit of $500.

the river is calling~

The retreat center is an arts education retreat center nestled among 16 acres of Cascadian woodland, bordered by the Wenatchee River in the quiet Plain Valley of Washington. It's a place where beauty is not just seen, but felt—through the rustle of trees, the warmth of handmade spaces, the stillness of mountain air.

We chose The Matriarch Retreat because it holds the kind of quiet that invites us inward. Here, surrounded by nature and creativity, we’ll have space to listen—to our bodies, to each other, and to the parts of ourselves that are often quieted in daily life. It’s a place where we can gather in our fullness, held by the land and one another.
